Reflect in a blog post on your portfolio site on the feedback you have on the training you selected. You can also reflect on why you chose this particular training for a refresher, and share your thoughts on the skills you want to focus on in the coming semester.
I went through the WordPress training again because this is the software I will be using for my Vivero project this semester. I think something that would be beneficial for this training would be adding a page on popular plugins and how to add them to a site and how to use them, especially things like Gutenburg editor that fundamentally changes the way you use WordPress. I love Plugins and think there are so many helpful ones out there, so a guide on the most popular ones might be good. Also, some more information on adding metadata to media in your WordPress might be helpful. I think there’s a lot more on WordPress that could be covered. Also, I liked the videos on the WeVideo training and since WordPress isn’t super intuitive some videos might help. I want to improve my WordPress skills this semester and become comfortable making a website.
